We have compiled a list of five much awaited Maruti Suzuki models that may be launched in India in 2022.
Maruti Suzuki Baleno CNG
Maruti Suzuki India recently launched the new Blaeno in India for Rs. 6.35 lakh (ex-showroom). With many segment-first features with design updates, the Blaeno is Maruti's most advanced product. CNG powertrains may be added to the updated hatchback in the coming months. The updated hatchback currently only comes with a 1.2-liter petrol engine.
Maruti Suzuki Swift CNG
The Swift is one of the most popular cars in the Indian market. Coming soon with CNG powertrain option. This CNG version will come with the same 1.2L NA petrol engine as the petrol version. Which will include a CNG kit as standard. We expect Maruti Swift CNG to be launched soon.
New-gen Maruti Suzuki Alto
Maruti Alto Next-Jan is also in development and testing phase. It will be based on the Heartect platform and may be slightly larger in size. The next generation Alto is expected to be powered by the same 799cc engine and will be launched later this year.
New-gen Maruti Suzuki Brezza
The next generation Brezza has clearly got new design features in the interior and exterior part. Additional safety and comfort facilities are expected to be offered. It is expected to come with a 1.5L petrol engine.
Maruti Suzuki Ciaz CNG
Maruti Suzuki is expected to launch the CNG version of the Ciaz in the Indian market in the second half of 2022. The Ciaz will be powered by a 1.5L engine similar to the CNG petrol model but will come with a CNG kit.
