EDUCATIONAL CALENDAR YEAR 2023-24||SSC Exam Date and HSC Exam Date and Holliday 

Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Sector-10B, Near Old Secretariat, Gandhinagar, dated 30/10/2050, District Education Officer, All Gujarat State. Subject: - Matter of fixing Diwali vacation in schools for the academic year 2020-21. Reference: - With the approval of the Government obtained on the single file here, according to the above subject and reference, to state that school activity calendar is prepared every year by the Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. The prescribed vacation dates are applicable to all secondary and higher secondary schools recognized by the Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.

Due to the prevailing situation of Kovid-19 in the current year, the school activity calendar could not be fixed by the Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education as no direct educational work could be started for the students in the schools. In the above circumstances, it is necessary for the vacation staff to clarify the duration of Diwali vacation. In this regard, as per every year, as per the approval of the Government received on the file regarding fixing the duration of Diwali vacation for the vacation staff in the schools, in the academic year 2020-201, the Diwali vacation in the schools should be 21 days from 29/10/2020 to 15/11/2020. Is. This will have to be implemented in all the secondary and higher secondary schools recognized by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board. Separate instruction will be given from now on regarding the entrance examination to be taken in the schools. In the present circumstances it becomes necessary for the vacation staff to clarify the duration of Diwali vacation. According to this, as per the approval of the Government on the single file of Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education regarding fixing of Diwali vacation time for vacational staff in schools like every year, Diwali vacation in schools in the academic year 2020-21. A total of 21 days are fixed from 29/10/2020 to 18/11/2020. In this regard, the District Education Officer and the District Primary Education Officer will be in coordination and will have to announce the vacation dates as suggested. So that the vacation date of the children of both primary / secondary schools can remain the same. The District Education Officers will have to report this letter to the Government, Granted and Self Supporting Teaching Temples, Children Teaching Temples, Experimental Schools as well as all the schools under your jurisdiction.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been established by Ministry of Education, as an independent/autonomous, self-reliant and self-sustained premier testing organization.

The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India has formulated a scheme known as PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India (YASASVI) for award of scholarships to eligible candidates belonging to Other Backward Class (OBC), Economically Backward Class (EBC) and De-Notified, Nomadic & Semi Nomadic Tribes(DNT/S-NT) categories, (the annual income of whose parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakhs) studying in Class IX and Class XI in identified Top Schools across India.

Who are all eligible to apply?

Ans: Applicants should be Indian Nationals.
Candidate should belong to OBC or EBC or DNT category.
Candidate applying for Class 9 should be born between 01-04- 2007 to 31-03-2011 (both days inclusive).
Candidate applying for Class 11 should be born between 01- 04-2005 to 31-03-2009 (both days inclusive).
Income of the parents or guardian of the applicant should not be more than Rs. 2.5 lakhs per annum.
Should be studying in Class IX or Class XI in the Identified Schools.
Should have passed Class VIII or Class X during the academic year 2022-23.

Will the exam for Class IX and held in the Class XI be same session and same time?
Ans: Yes. Exam for both Class IX and Class XI will be held in the same session and same date. Candidates will have to ensure that they answer the question paper meant for them, as indicated on their Admit Card.
