First, download or install the Aarogya Setu App through the Google Play Store or iOS App Store.
Then go to the App Information page and tap on Register Now.
It will ask you for permission for GPS and Bluetooth. Grants you a permit and move on.
On the next page, you will find the option to register your mobile number. After entering the mobile number you will get OTP. Noting that you can move on.
As you go forward you will notice your risk level by either green or yellow. If you are safe it will be registered in green. And if yellow does come you are at risk and you should contact the helpline. Aarogya Setu is a mobile application developed by the Government of India to connect essential health services with the people of India in our combined fight against COVID-19. The App is aimed at augmenting the initiatives of the Government of India, particularly the Department of Health, in proactively reaching out to and informing the users of the app regarding risks, best practices, and relevant advisories pertaining to the containment of COVID-19.
The 'Health Bridge' app broke the record of 'Pokemon Go' in the download. The Pokemon Go app received 5 million downloads in 19 days while the 'Health Set' app received 5 million downloads in 13 days.
Baj referred to the application in the Prime Minister's address on April 14, download the application 1 million times every minute during that period on Tuesday morning, and by midnight, the application has been downloaded a total of 5 million times. According to Arnab Kumar, 5 million downloads were expected on April 15 but 1 day. That target has already been reached. On April 14, the application was downloaded 1.1 million times.
